  1. YOU HAVE TO PUT THE CODE IN THE MANULE BOOK TO START PLAYING

  2. You may not have enough space on your computer. I had to delete a lot of files that were just taking up space in order to download a game. Make sure you have enough room on your hard drive, if not, you can buy an external hard drive. Also make sure that your software is current enough to work with the game.

  3. If you have a Macintosh it might be a Windows game and if you have a Windows it might be a Macintosh application.

  4. Go the Start Menu and you should see My Computer, and then you should see the The Sims 2 Deluxe and then click on it..make sure the CD is in the CD holder.

  5. Check if you're computer's components fit the sim's requirements.

You can usually find it on the box.

    Possible problems:

    incompatible O.S.    (Windows Vista, etc.)

Hardware problems (Not enough Ram, etc.)

    Disk Problems (Scratches, etc.)

  6. You might not have enough memory on your computer.

If that is not it may the game you bought was defective.

And if that still if not it, maybe your computer is not compatible with the software.

There might be a number you can call on the box of the game if you have further questions.

    I hope I helped :)
