Why cant i log in to my computer after i made a new log in?

i received a computer from work and took it home, i still had to log in and use the other persons log in. as i was trying to make my own log in and delete the old one, i must have switched it from being on a network to being used for a home computer. it said to restart, i did and when i went to log back in, the old log in was still there, but the password did not work. is there a simple solution to this other then reinstalling windows again?

It could be a permissions problem.

Try logging in while on your works network.

If that doesn't work, see if you can get your works system admin to assist you,
