Why cant i make my young brother understand how vital his education is?

My brother is 14 and he just dosent like to school. He has been suspended numorous times, and he says he wants to quit school and get a job. I have tried to explain to him that if he dosent finsh at least high school he is going to have a hard time finding a good job. I have talked to him, my father has tried talking to him but he just dosent care. I just cant see myself or anybody without an associates degree at least.

I have an associates degree in computer design. i try to set the example but he looks at it like he can do better.

I am pursuing my bachelors attending college again and he dosent even want to finish high school.

Why cant he get the point?

get the details of famous people that he admires and tell him what they did (qualifications) and tell him that they had to do it an so should he. I was in the same boat a few months ago. Im 14 too i learnt from it.

Make sure he's not having any problems in school. Like learning or other kids picking on him. Express to him that dropping out is not a good idea. Tell that getting a GED is harder than finishing school.

Take him to McDonalds and have him take a hard look at the age of the people flipping burgers.
