Why cant i move screen up far enough to read conversation when in pool rooms?

If you are on a table you can actually collapse the ad at the top.

Just float your mouse over by the bottom left side of the ad, until you see an arrow pointing up/down. Click there and drag it to the top of the table. Then you can grab the bottom of the table and resize it too.
