  1. maybe you're not being active...try doing some exercises before bed ...

  2. i dont know why this is happening, but try a not lay around (if you possibly are) and try and exercise or play a game to try and tire yourself out...maybe you body just needs to be worked a little harder and use some energy

  3. The best way is to watch your habits.  Do not read, watch tv, etc in bed. You want your body to know that bed is for sleeping only.  Exercise is also very effective.  Also, try to stay on a schedule, do not always change what time you go to bed.  Sometimes taking melatonin, you can purchase it at walmart in the vitamin section will help you to stick to a schedule.  If you are in bed for 15 minutes and can't fall asleep, get up and do something for a while, then try again.  Same idea as before, bed is for sleeping only.  I have my own sleeping problems, these are some great tips from my doctor.

  4. I know one thing and that is for a lot of people reading really gets their mind going. So.. I'm going to wish you goodluck tonight but I'm also going to suggest to get off the comp and watch tv or do something besides read things online... It might help might not but for a lot of people they can't sleep after reading in a book or online because reading gets your mind going. Good luck... Btw I sleep with white noise.. like a fan going or no noise.. a tv on in my room... It really makes me take longer to sleep, but everyone's diffferent. Good luck.

  5. avoid eating alot, drinking alcohol or caffeine, and performing strenuous exercise for atleast 4-6 hours before your planned bedtime.  and also dont take naps during the day.  if i was 15 again i would try to do as little activity as possible 1 hour before my planned bedtime.  the best thing i can do to put me to sleep is read something for class and usually in 15 minutes i'm nodding off.  so if you get in bed an hour earlier than you plan to go to sleep and start reading a textbook you should be out in no time.
