  1. I see no reason why not I have used both feet for years. I think your reaction time is faster.

  2. Probably cause your a girl....hee hee hee.

  3. I am going to asume that you are a new teen driver with little to no experience. The reason that it is not recommended to use both feet to drive a car with an automatic transmission is that if you happen to have to break quickly, if you try to hit the break with your left foot you are more likely to hit the gas with your right foot at the same time. This would obvoiusly cause more problems than there were to begin with, so you are better of to learn to operate both pedals with your right foot.

  4. sorry i drive like that most of the time when i a jam i gas with right brake with left.. but if im in open road its right foot only but it dont matter really either way is fine... it come from driving a manual

  5. Because you might press both pedals at once, which would not work very well and would wear out both the brakes and the engine.

  6. 1. you can and will get confused at some time.

    2. you will wear out the brakes and cause expensive repairs.

  7. If you use your left foot for brakeing you will have a tendancy to ride the brakes and this not a good thing, you will wear out the brakes very fast, plus by rideing the brakes you will heat them up making them hard to use. The way to prevent most sudden stops is to allow enough distance between you and the car in front of you, in other words, don't be a tailgater.

  8. It's the idiot syndrome! Left foot on brake pedal while driving has the brake lights on all the time and wears the brakes down quickly. Now how would anyone tell when this idiot is actually slowing down or stopping? Here's more examples of the "syndrome"

"is it cuz of d engine?"

"in case of am accident n i panic??"

    "wuts d reason?"

  9. If it's more comfortable, do it. Who says you can't? To me it's a lot safer and quicker in case I have to stop quickly. My left foot is a lot closer to the brake than if I have to use my right foot. I really don't care what the law says (if there is such a thing) I drive the way I determine to be the safest way for me.

  10. you CAN. only problem i see with people doing that is you have to make sure you lift your left foot off the pedal totally while driving. theres nothing more annoying then getting behind some old geezer where every bump he hits his brake lights come on or the other way around. if you touch that pedal even a hair the brake lights come on.

other then that i really see no reason now to. if your comfortable and feel like your better driving like that then go for it.

its kinda like driving with one hand on the wheel. everyone does that

  11. The real official reason is because if you go to drive a stick shift car you will be in the habit of pushing down with your left foot to stop and you will push in the clutch.  You want your mind to get in the habit of braking with the right foot so in a panic situation you don't push the wrong pedal in a manual trans car.

People that road race in automatics actually do use the left foot to brake because they can brake faster that way since they don't have to move their foot.

  12. Perhaps you have an "S" tattooed on your forehead.
