Why cant my PSP/PS3 connect to the internet through my thrustmaster PSP WiFi key?

My internet provider is Virgin Media (AKA ntl). I always get DNS error even though im typing in which i think is the right one. And sometimes, my PSP cant even detect the acsess point even though I have the PSP in the same room as the WIFI key. I am sure that it is installed properly and is plugged in the PC correctly.

Bit of a long shot but have you tried changing the wireless channel? There are so many things which can interfere these days, not including neighbouring wireless networks.
