Why cant my group members edit their memberships on the group. They all get a page that wont let them put in r

when they try it wont let them enter s*x or country or state. i as the owner of the group cant even change mine

The Edit Membership page for a Yahoo Group is used for Group settings.  s*x and Location are Profile settings.  To change your Profile settings, you need to load the page with your Yahoo Profile.  The web address (URL) for this is profiles.yahoo.com/YourLoginName (replacing YourLoginName with your actual login name/Yahoo ID, of course).  Once you've loaded your Profile into your browser, then click on Edit Profile Information in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Look through the various fields you can edit, and change any that you want to change.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button (in the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.
