Why cant people accept the fact that Jordan was the best of all-time?

All they say is he wouldnt have won a title without pippen.... WOW... Who can win a title on their own? Wilt didnt win until he joined the Lakers... Kobe isnt winning one without Shaq... Pierce didnt win until KG and Allen came... Magic didnt win without Kareem, though that one game where Kareem was out, he won.... Robinson didnt win without Duncan, and the Celtics were packed full of Hall of Famers... So what exactly is the argument that you Jordan haters have?

Comparing players from different eras and positions is almost impossible, so rather than pick a G.O.A.T., I think picking a G.O.H.A.(greatest of his era).

Who in this forum can actually say they saw Wilt, Russell or Jabbar play? Bird or Magic? I bet most of the people on YA! basketball section aren't even old enough to have seen Jordan in his prime, and that was only 10-15 years ago.

So, to be fair I acknowledge George Mikan and Bob Petitt as the best players of the late 40's and early 50's, Wilt, Russell, West, and Robertson as the best of the late 50's and 60's, Jabbar and Dr. J dominated the 70's, Jordan, Magic and Bird in the 80's, Jordan and Hakeem in the 90's, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan in 2000, and Lebron, Chris Paul, and Dwight Howard look to be the most dominant past 2010.

i totally accept the fact that mj is really the greatest player ever,imagine the nba without the existence of michael?maybe they were no allen iverson,dwyane wade,lebron james,vince carter and many more those names i mention because of mj they became a great basketball players i mean they were inspired by mj to play the game of basketball

The reason people cant accept the fact that jordan is the best of all time is because he is GONE. we will probably never see him again so everyone is trying to look for a new jordan now. I mean if the best ever is gone, then why watch the sport in the first place. we want someone to take his place and become the next mj. which is why we make comparisons even when we know theyre wrong

Arguments those people has is Jordan never had winning season w/o Pippen... Which Kobe or all other Players you mentioned had one or more ...

Jordan's playoff record is 1-9 w/o Pippen .. that's like Pau Gasol number man ( 0-8 )

Lebron James is in other hand lead his team to The Finals ...

So if you wanna look at their accomplishment by age by age .. Then Lebron James is ahead of Jordan .. by far ..

So what people asking is NOT to Win Championship .. but have a winning season & win atleast more than 1 game in playoffs for god's sake if your Greatest of All Time ...

I don't even know why you just mentioned Paul Pierce in middle of those Legends ... kinda insult to others ..

Everyone has.

Jordan had 2nd [3rd In my opinion] best player in the league.

Kobe had the one of the best centers in the league.

Wade had one of the best centers in the league.

Pierce was the most consistent player for Celtics in the playoffs, but he is pretty much a replacable player.

Duncan= Twin Tower Duo

Honestly, I don't care if you weren't MVP, if you take part in winning a title, you deserve it. Especially if you were part of the duo that was the main reason the team won the title.

Becuase he's the newest schooled great and he's not a big....and becuase he didnt have a great big playing with him...they say this and that, the point is that people fail to realize....All they think Jordan was a scorer,...But the fact is he rebounded and played D and finished and came thru in the clutch(betterthananyoneinthehistoryofthe... just as well as he scored......There are Jordan haters sbecuase they cant fathom doing what Jordan did, be great at it all....and the the most pop and loved.....But hey who would we be with out the Haters....

Wilt won a title in 1967 you MORON! .... AND, he was one game away many times....PLUS, Wilt led the league in assists (something Jordan never came close to doing - and he was a GUARD!!!).

Jordan was 1-10 in playoff games without Pippen, plus he led an all star caliber team in college to two early tournament exits - so that poor supporting cast arguement holds no weight either.

What exactly is  your argument that Jordan was the best player of all time?  The fact that Jordan never even led any of his teams to a winning season without another top 50 player on the roster is a fact... whether you like it or not...but that's not the only reason for the argument that he wasn't the best ever...it was just one reason.

But again, what's your argument that he was the best ever?  

What exactly did he do better than anyone else who ever played the game?  Shoot?  No...  Pass?  No....    Rebound?  NO!!...   Defend? No....      Dunk? Maybe....    Sell shoes?  Most definitely.

EDIT: Jordan was 1-9 in the playoffs without Pippen, not 1-7... actually, I heard that he was 1-10 without him... he was 1-9 before Pippen joined the team, but he may have lost a playoff game at some point in which Pippen was on the team but  didn't play.  I haven't checked on that though.
