  1. the Gaza strip is too small, Its already crowded with just the Arabs.

  2. because hamas is running it now and they're pansies who dont like sharing.

the hamas leader was asked this question today and he said "ALLAH JIHAD DURKA DURKA MUHAMMAD ZIONISTS JIHAD ALLAHHHHHH MUHAMMAD!"

  3. The Gaza Strip wasn't part of the deal for Israel.  Other people live there, and they don't want to 'share' it.  The question should be 'why is Israel trying to take the Gaza Strip'?

To Tequila:  Israel left the Gaza strip 3 yrs ago, true, but they were occupiers.  They occupied the Gaza Strip from 1967 - 2005.  They still control its airspace, territorial waters and offshore maritime access.  Occupiers don't get brownie points for 'giving back the land' as it wasn't theirs to give back.    A naive pursuit of peace?

  4. if u give the jews an inch then theyre ganna want a mile!

  5. Sharing is hardly the issue; this is like asking the Poles in 1940 "why can't they just share with the Germans." The Gaza was fine until inundated with Palestinians fleeing their homes in terror after the Deir Yassin massacre in 1948,what to speak of the 1956 invasion when the izzies shot more than 400 civilians in cold blood,as a consequence of which they were ordered out by President Eisenhower,if necessary under Marine escort. It was invaded and occupied in 1967 and since then this rich agricultural area has been bled dry of it's water and it's produce despoiled. Thousands of non-partisan civilians have been ruthlessly butchered by the zionists. It has recently survived a year-long siege. Your question under these circumstances is quite absurd.

  6. arabs can't share. they want their land free of jews. of course, this attitude will get them all killed.

  7. Again, who are 'they' you want to share Gazastan????

It's dominated by radical Islamists constantly shelling Israeli communities or using their 'martyr' suicide bombers...Despite the agreed upon peace treaty Hamas bombarded Israel the very first day..Then today launched more rockets..Thankfully no-one was injured or killed..

Gaza is Egyptian & they don't want thoses terrorist Islamists either..

Fatah is the leser of the 2 evils tho w' the same goal of wiping out Israel..Terrorist A vs terrorist B..

Israel doesn't want Gaza & hasn't any control of those people..But the majority there want not only a 'piece' of Israel but the entire country.. Then domination of the whole world!

So much for the religion of peace..And have read the Qu'aran..

In the early years of the Tawheed (Islamic conquest of the Arabian peninsula) and in the Fatah (Arab-Islamic invasion and conquest of the upper Middle East and the outside world), a Muslim concept was devised to achieve success against the enemy, Al-Taqiya..

Al-Taqiya, from the verb Ittaqu, means linguistically dodge the threat. Politically it means simulate whatever status you need

  8. because of the democratic vote the palestinians were new to voting and elected a terrorist Hamas entity into their government. Better luck next time I guess.

We all saw the bloody battle that ensued after Hamas got some power they stripped some Fatah members naked and threw one  from tall building and executed some.

Hard to share with someone so violent!

  9. because they don't want to

  10. Hi. Who are "they"? Do you mean Hamas and Fatach need to learn to share? If so, Israel Travel is not the best place to ask as there is nothing  we can do to prevent further bloodshed between the various Gazan factions.  "Are you aware of the fact that the Hamas militias have even banned people from sitting in public places and are beating them? Are you waiting until Hamas kills all of us?"

Surely you don't mean the Arabs and the Israelis of that area?! Until August 2005, over 8,500 Israelis lived in Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip. (Many Gazan Arabs were employed by their Jewish neighbors. Although terrorists constantly tried to kill the Jews, some of the Arabs wanted them to stay.) You seem unaware that thousands of multigenerational Israeli families were ethnically cleansed from the Gaza strip just under 3 years ago in misguided hopes of "peace". As soon as the Strip became Judenrein,  the world watched as the terrorist bases of Gaza took over the formerly beautiful land of homes, gardens and thriving hothouse businesses. No, the  land was not given to any poor needy Gazans. The ruling terrorist organizations simply took over the former Gush Katif towns for launching missiles upon nearby Israeli communities and for smuggling weapons, drugs, etc.

CarolineJ: You are most mistaken. Read up on the history of the area. Israel left the Gaza Strip 3 years ago. Too bad the land given by Israel in the naive pursuit of peace is being used as many knew it would be -- as another terrorist base for rocket fire.

Edit to CJ: Why play the ignorance card? (You also misquoted me twice, but that I forgive.) Anyone who studies history will discover that the Arab conquerors are relative newcomers to Gaza.  As late as 1967, there were under 118,000 Arabs in the entire area in and around Gaza City. Most of them migrated there from Egypt in the 1920s. Jews, on the other hand, have had a presence in Gaza for over 3000 years.  Among the numerous mentions of Gaza in the Bible, Abraham and Isaac were indeed early "occupiers" of Gaza, an area mentioned specifically as home to the tribe of Judah. There was a noted Jewish community in Gaza during the first and second centuries B.C.E. By the third century C.E., the Jewish community was flourishing. http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsou...

Many artifacts indicating Gaza's Jewish roots have been found over the centuries. One example is the column of a  synagogue (circa 508 C.E.), plundered for a church and later used in a local mosque. The name "Hanania Ben Yaacov" was inscribed in Hebrew and in Greek under the drawings of a Menorah, a Shofar, a Lulav and Etrog. Unfortunately, Egyptians tried to obliterate the inscriptions. There is also a Hebrew mosaic floor from the same pre-Muslim era synagogue; it's now in the Israel Museum for safekeeping.

A visitor to the Israel museum can also see another interesting Gazan artifact:  a mosaic showing King David with a harp. An ancient Hebrew inscription next to the face says that it represents King David. During the Egyptian occupation of Gaza, this mosaic was dug up in the early 1960s and a photo was made of it. The face (destroyed by the Egyptians) was reconstructed thanks to the photo.

  11. :| dont you think they would have thought of that by now if it were that easy

  12. the arabs can have the gaza strip and leave israel alone...if only it was this simple.

but the problem the arabs want to have the cake and eat it too.

  13. and do you think the middle east problem is as simple as this???

  14. 4 years ago the Israeli leaders used to say Gaza was part of Israel like they say about the West Bank now days.

  15. It would be much better if Muslims left "gaza" to the Israelis so they can build it into something useful - just like they did in the rest of Israel.  Muslims living in "gaza" can simply be absorbed by Muslim countries.  They would fit in better and they would be much happier.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; })

  16. If we wanted it than by international law it's ours to keep, we gave it back to Egypt. Egypt didn't want it back, dumped it right back at us.

Now if only these people quit their war acts they would be able to start the new country of Gaza. I'm sure with time it can be another Monaco.

  17. Israel should NEVER part with ANY of her land! Ever! It is hers and only hers! Why is the rest of the world always telling Israel to part with more of what is hers? All they want is to chip away at what belongs to Israel until it is gone. The rest of the world should support Israel in holding on to any and ALL land that belongs to the Jewish people!

  18. Would you share your home with a stranger ? :-x
