  1. cause kids abuse gum and chew it loudly and its gross

also they just stick it under the desks and thats gross

it gets better when you get to high school they trust you more

  2. Some students be disrespectful when they chew gum so that's why some allow it and some don't.

  3. Gum is usually forbidden because most students don't dispose of it properly.  That can get pretty nasty with everyone on campus chewing gum!

The school is smart to permit chewing during important tests.  It has been learned through research that chewing gum improves your memory & concentration, among other benefits to the brain.  It's not the gum itself, but the chewing motion that does the work.

Still, we can't handle sticky campuses!  Maybe chewing could be permitted only in some situations.

Suggestion:  When you start school this year, try chewing gum at home while you're doing your homework.   I'll bet it will help!

  4. cuz kids spit it out on the ground or stick it under desks when they're done. then somebody has to clean it up.

  5. Because people stick it on the desks and on the ground and could possibly choke on it if laughing or running or something.

  6. lol..idk teachers are weird like that..i totally feel your pain
