You forget mate, nobody outside the USA gives a toss about that Gridiron bollocks.  It's an embarrassment that you lot believe it to be football.  Football's a game played the world over.  Gridiron's a waste of time only played in the USA.

Baseball's been axed from the Olympics due to lack of interest.

We couldn't in the NFL because the USA is one of the few countries that plays American style football, and the only one that takes it so seriously.  Boxing is possible except that the state of boxing today is in bad shape and there is not a lot of quality competition in enough of the weight classes in the world  let alone the USA.  MLB should always win but a lot of the elite athletes choose not to participate and there is also a good amount of talent from Latin countries and Asian countries.
