Why cant we get pregnant

we have been trying for almost 6months now. i have two other kids with my ex husband and i am with a new man and we are very much in love and i just want a third child and i want it to be with him. and my last child was a c-sec and i am having periods regularly so could it be him. and if so is there anyway to make him more fertile......please help me...

The problem would most likely be him the way it sounds.  You may want to have his sperm tested to see if he has a good count.  If the number comes back low then the doctor will tell him ways to try to get the count up. Contact me for further assistance.

Depending on your age, it may be too soon to worry.  Unless you are over 35, it is recommended that you try for a year before seeing a fertility specialist.  If you are over 35, go ahead and talk to a doctor and see about getting you and him tested for fertility problems.

if you have been on birth control that could affect the amount of time it takes to get pregnant.  i have three children and my husband and i are trying for our fourth child and have been for about 6 months as well and nothing has happened yet.  don't give up!  good luck!!

Its not really a long time in the big picture. The doctors probably wont even look into it if you havent been trying for at least one to two years. Maybe you conceived quicker with your previous children but having a c-section has nothing to do with future conceptions. You just arent hitting your ovulation period more than likely. Keep trying and consider waiting to put the blame on either of you for not yet conceiving until at least another 6 months to a year.

I totally understand what you are going through....my husband and I both have children from previous relationship but would like one of our own together and have been ttc for about a year and a half with no luck. Finally we both went to the doctor and found nothing wrong with us, so he put me clomid....

So I say for you guys to go to the doctor and get checked and see if he suggests something to help you get pregnant....

It may be him. Have him go to the doctor and get checked. They will also want to check his sperm count. He can take zinc in that may also help. Wear boxers, looser clothing, shorts, etc. 6 months seems like forever, I know we tried for 2.5 yrs. Just try to relax, have fun with it. You may also try taking your BBT. You could use fertilityfriend.com to chart. I did and in the first month got pregnant. Also that was because we BD everyday except like 3. GL and lots of baby dust.

The best positions to have s*x in are either you on top of your husband or your husband behind you. Reason for this is because the position allows your husbands p***s to be perfectly positioned to the opening of your cervix, allowing more alive sperm to make it to your eggs. If this doesn't work then seek your doctor.

Smoking pot lowers a man's fertility.

Checking a man's firtility is alot easier than checking a woman's. Have him talk to his doctor. They should be able to check his sperm count pretty easily.

It could be him. Your best bet at this point is to have him get his sperm checked. He will have to see a doctor who will have him bring in a sample and look at it to count how many healthy sperm he is producing. If that turns out ok then it is just a matter of right timing and you can get an ovulation test kit at the drugstore that will increas your chances of conceiving
