Why cant we just shoot these pesky seagulls?

i know it is our fault that they are spreading inland but their numbers are increasing at an alarming rate and i am sick to death of them cr@pping over everything.

You would need a hunting season and licence.  You can't just go shooting the birds "where ever" since they tend to flock to public/populated regions.  There's a likelyhood of some bystander getting shot.  Also hunting implies eating, and I don't think gulls are that good of eats unless you're desperate.

Now if only we could off these d@#^ed Canadian Geese.  They are far worse (aggressive and messy) around here and at least they are good eating.
