  1. you can buy things on Sunday's ... it's just you can only buy for a limited time due to the Sunday 6 hour trading laws

  2. you can buy things on sundays. its just that the shops are only open 11-4 on a sunday (sometimes 11-5). some shops do not open on sunday but most do.

and you can still buy stuff online...

many services are not available on a sunday though. no post delivaryies or post offices, doctors and dentists dont open, banks are closed etc. but chain stores, grocers, supermarkets etc all open on a sunday. you have been misinformed.

  3. Many regions have laws, sometimes called "Blue Laws" that restrict business dealings on Sunday.  For example, in some counties in my state you cannot buy a car or buy alcohol on a Sunday.  It goes back to when Sunday was considered a day of worship and rest, and no work was to be done.

  4. because they all close at 4 o clock

  5. You can buy things on a sunday there is just a 6 hour trading law which means shops are only allowed to trade on sundays for 6 hours.  They are usualy open from 11 - 4 or sometimes 10 - 4 and for the first hour the customers are allowed to look around the shop but are not allowed to purchase anything.  It's to do with the Christian religion where Sunday is ment to be a day of rest. :)
