  1. The iPod is a worldwide product and many countries use different radio standards and not many MP4 player buyers WANT a radio.

The Ipod as such does NOT have a radio in it in the same ways that MOST MP3 or MP4 player do not.

You CAN have a FM radio in an iPod by using a dock based accessory the Apple Radio Remote that adds a remote control similar to the current iPod Shuffle to the headphone lead Plus a FM radio this works on all ipods except for the Touch until the 2.1 software is released (now 2.0.2). its part number MA070G for the UK.

Different countries have differing model numbers to meet local radio standards.

Believe me it makes sense - make the not often wanted bit an add on that's customised to the country needing it then reduce the size and price of the ipod by not adding bits that aren't wanted by most.

As for video your ipod needs to be capable of playing video and the first generation one wasn't thats why they released the 2nd and 3rd generation nano's  the 3rd Gen nano can play video as well as the ipod classic.

You Load these on your iPod using itunes never try to do it as a memory drive.  Simply dragging music onto an ipod does NOT make that music playable it then acts as hard disk. To make the music playable you MUST use itunes to sync with it as only itunes can put the music files in the correct file names (not the same as on the computer) in hidden folders and create the hidden indexes for them to be playable.

  2. you're talking about a Nano, the classic one, i take it is one of the older Nano? You cannot sync games or any sort of video to the old Nano. No software can allow you to either. Only the most recent generation of Nano will allow videos, and obviously the iPhone, Touch, and Classic does too.

  3. do you have the iTunes installed in your computer? if not, install the program (iTunes) first. without it, you won't be able to put any of your iPod. you need to input first into you iTunes player and plug your iPod so that it will upload into your iPod automatically (depending on your setting if it's automatic and not manual).

  4. it is because you need to download softwere of u need a cd that you get with it i say go on to apples website and contact them and ask them to send you the drivers or a link to download them
