  1. My cat has never had this problem(except for the time when she ate about 8 pieces of large sized dog kibbles). She is on a holistic brand.

  2. Try feeding him : half a small can of wet food and cut back a little on straight dry food.  I 've always found that feeding them half and half cures the vomit and diarhea problem! Good Luck!

  3. Isn't the answer obvious? Change back to the food you were feeding him before. If the vomiting and diahorrea continue consult your vet as this can lead to dehydration very quickly.

  4. If the cat wasn't poisoned and you know the cat food was the cause of the vomit/diarrhea, check the ingredients on the bag. A lot of bad, cheap pet foods have lots of unhealthy fillers and chemicals, and very little of the stuff that the animal is actually supposed to be eating. Also a lot of pets will get upset stomachs if you change their food abruptly from one brand to another. If you want to introduce a different food into the diet you are supposed to do it gradually, like on the first day, mix a little of the new food with the old, and slowly increase the ratio of new to old food. That's all I can really think of if it's a food-related digestive problem, but vomiting and diarrhea sound a bit too severe...are you sure the cat didn't eat something poisonous?
