a lot of people from different parts of india settle there because it's safer and better schools and it's good place to raise a family. also good hospitals and doctors there. people are friendly. it not far from the beach. the famous carnatic music and bhartnatyam dance festival is held there every december which is attracts performers from all ever the world. only problem with chennai is the water problem. it may not be a metropolis like mumbai, delhi, or bangalore, but is a nice city live in.
