some people are just stupid! they really don't quite understand that they have NO rights to touch anyone genitals!

It only lasts a few minutes for something that will affect them for a life time. My husband wasn't circumcised and I wish he was. It's weird. I thought about the pain with my now 6 week old son. It was worth it. He was gone for about 15 minutes. He was just fine when he came back. So I don't think it was that bad. Think of this way...we go through the pain of periods, child birth, etc. This is the only pain men have and they never remember it!

because urinarty tract infections on men are extremely painful and they will have them for the rest of their life if not circumcised.  Have you ever known an adult who had to be circumcised because of urinary tract infections?  I know two, there is a reason they did it as an adult, and yes, their infections stopped and they never had them again.  People discount the value of circumcision and say it is barbaric.  There's a medical reason it happens and works successfully.

Unfortunately to many people out there are uneducated and still believe it more clean to have them cut but it isn't.  I know many men that are cut that have had infections but none of the males I know that are uncut have had any.  They seem to have an idea in their head that uncut means UTI's and stuff but in all reality just putting a baby in a bubble bath can cause the UTI cut or uncut it doesn't matter.  Both can get Yeast Infections and both can get other infections.  It is all about keeping them clean and teaching them how to keep themselves clean as they get older.  It is an unnecessary procedure there is no medical reason to do it.  It is just a cosmetic surgery done for looks or religious reasons that is why many insurance companies now refuse to pay for it.

It can be medical, but it is also a religious practice for many Christians and Jews.  Men don't automatically get urinary tract infections if they are uncircumcised - they just have to clean themselves more thoroughly if they still have their f******n.

My son did not even cry when he had the procedure. I told them to numb him beforehand (Cause i know a doctor that would not numb before he done the procedure)

Anyhow my son done well afterwards with no problems.

If you do not want to have him circumcised then don't.

Religious reasons, cleanliness reasons - it hurts baby but they forget.

Tradition and ignorance! There is no reason, and the pain is very bad!
