  1. for me, I noticed that when clouds at night are red it will rain(or raindrops will fall)... actually, i love watching the sky at night.... especially looking at the big bright moon and all the stars around it,... i also love staring at red skies (i don't know it's just that, it catches my heart)........

  2. because of the dust

  3. There is a really old saying about a red sky - like a couple hundred years old - there are a couple of versions but my dad used to say

"red sky at night - sailors delight. Red sky at dawn sailor be warned"

It had something to do with sailors watching sea storms but if you pay attention, a red sky at night usually means it's going to be nice the following day. If it's red in the morning, it's going to be crappy weather.

  4. Clouds actually reflect red light better than any other color. The only reason why they look white in the daytime is the color overload on your eye. As the sun sets, and less and less light falls on the clouds and is obscured by the atmosphere over the curvature of the Earth, the clouds appear to become more and more reddish.
