Why could I be short of breath?

I do take alot of meds. I also I am in a wheel-chair I have spinabifta and asima.also sleep apnia sorry for the spelling.

You could have pneumonia, congestive heart failure, pulmonary embolus,  Did this shortness of breath just start suddenly or have you always had it.  When was the last time you saw your Dr. Your reduced mobility put you at a higher risk for many breathing problems.And don't worry about your spelling, my computer is just correcting mine !!

Asthma causes shortness of breath because it constricts your airways. It could be a medication side affect also, but it's best to go to the doctor considering your health problems.
