  1. Canadian women were granted the full right to vote in 1918. So Canadian women were allowed to vote in the twentieth century.

  2. Canada in all fairness was still a dominion of the UK until after world war two.

So Canada gave women the right to vote before it was a fully independent nation.

  3. I've always been puzzled by Canada.  I loved how clean Toronto was, not a bloody piece of paper on the ground, I loved Montreal and the s**y night-life, some very s**y ladies.  I loved Vancouver and Whistler.

I never understood why people speak French or Quebecois or whatever in Quebec, but English everywhere else, I never really figured that whole bit out.

But apparently the brilliant Sir Paul McCartney shall be performing in Quebec and I am angered that I shall not see him, I cannot forgive myself for this.  I find this unnacceptable as I am such an avid fan of The Beatles and their legacy.  I am too upset at this point to continue my discussion, my apologies.

  4. The laws did not include/permit them to do so.

But that problem is fixed luckily :)

  5. They didn't have the legal right to until 1918 as the poster above says
