Why couldn't McCain remember how many houses he owns?

I don't care about that as much as the fact that he is confirmed to own 7 to 11 houses and that these poor hicks are still going to vote for him thinking a man who owns 7 to 11 houses care about them.  LOL

If McCain being old is why he couldnt remember how many houses he owned,  can you explain to me why Obama couldnt remember how many states there are.  Remember he said 57 states.
