  1. The same reason Netball isn't.

    You need to have a certain number of countries playing a sport at a high enough level to warrant it being selected.

    Cricket is well on it's way to fulfilling that requirement.  


  2. For a long time the barriers to this were the facts that cricket is popular only in a few Commonwealth nations, and the only form of cricket was the test match over five days - far too long.

    Now I think with Twenty20 it's more likely. London 2012 should have tried to introduce it, but it would still take a long time for each match, and require a lot of venues - especially when many countries don't have ovals inside stadia.


  3. It was .......  but it was removed just like Baseball and Softball will be after these current Games
