Why crows do not hunt pigeons?

They do eat dead pigeons.

  2. Crows are opportunistic omnivores. They will eat almost anything, and they will fill up on the easiest to get. Most of the time, it is a lot easier for a crow to scavenge a dead pigeon than to chase a live one, but if necessary, they will hunt their prey.

    Of course, crows are not built to chase birds. so they probably not be too successful huntin pigeons.

  3. Crows don't hunt other birds..they are not birds of prey, they usually feed from carrion and are opportunistic feeders..but not typically hunters.  They will prey upon baby chicks in a nest, but do not go after adult birds.
