    to give children an education in how to eat a variety of foods

    to allow for all cultures in a school to be represented

    to prevent boredom

    and to allow children to feel part of the program by representing their cultures

  3. Children's eating habits are formed very young. By exposing them to a variety of foods you increase the possibility that they will eat a varied diet as adults. In addition, families are entitled to have their preferences respected.

  5. this is due to legislation such as equal opportunities, human rights act to name a few.  Also they are providing a business, and like all businesses you have to give the client what they want!

  6. because it shows respect for other childrens cultures.  it also gives other children knowledge of what others preferences are and they learn to respect them too so they have an anti bias view.
