Why did Abbos Atoev lose in his first bout in Beijing 2008?

The champion of the world amateur boxing Abbos Atoev lost to tajik boxer, why? my dad thinks that after he was the champion of the world amateur champions, he showed off with all that he got, and then he didn't train, why do you he lost?

I think he lost because the judging in boxing is a joke!!!!  Actually, I think a lot of the judging at the olympics this year is a joke.
