  1. He did because of ignorance but he is making the money. The oil Co. love GW and is making billions.

  2. About what? Assuming its about global warming, its because he did lie.

  3. He didn't lie.  And he got the basic things right.

There are some minor details in An Inconvenient Truth that were LATER found out to be exaggerated.

But the most important things are scientific fact.  Global warming is real, mostly caused by us, a serious problem, and capable of being solved by us.

The basic science is summarized here, in a report by the National Academy of Sciences:

    http://dels.nas.edu/dels/rpt_briefs/clim...

"The scientific understanding of climate change is now sufficiently clear to begin taking steps to prepare for climate change and to slow it. Human actions over the next few decades will have a major influence on the magnitude and rate of future warming."

  4. because he was telling the truth

  5. You really should admit you are not a doctor! Shame on you for lying "Baghdad Bob!"

How can you live with your lies day to day? Don't you at least feel the slightest hint of regret?

    Anyway, you make me sick!

  6. Why do you NOT admit you lie?

  7. You gota admit (Tuba), said it best. If it's associated with politics, any way shape or form...it's a lie.

  8. Which lie are you referring to, Dr. Smith?  He's a politician, isn't he?  One about the 100+ years of Global Warming research, or something else?

What I wonder is why Bush admitted he lied when he opined that Global Warming was unproven.  Maybe he was thinking of his "legacy", and just didn't want to be regarded by history as an imbecile?
