Why did Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson say that AGW is real in their commercial? Did you see it?

Is the so called "scam" so BIG that those two would get in on it together?

So now we have people on the religious left and right (Sharpton/Robertson commercial).  People on the political left and right (Pelosi/Gingrich commercial).  And the vast majority of climate scientists from all over the world agreeing that global warming is real and needs to be addressed.

Now, if only we could get the talk-radio scientific illiterate types to tell their flock it's real, maybe we could actually get serious about this issue and prevent any serious consequences down the road.

Cult leaders are really followers in a way.  

These guys have to stay on the front edge if they want to stay in power.  They can't change the course of events, they have to jump in front and glom on to the general course that their followers are going to take anyway.  That way they can remain in front and look like "leaders".

People are beginning to realize these problems are real and not going away.  We are reaching a political tipping point.  The big middle is about to flip.

Politicians are expert at reading the wind.

You will never see one of these hypocrites debate the issue. They all will make some killer money off this hoax while you pay through the nose in more taxes.

Do you think they are doing this for free? Do you think these elitists are going to stop polluting?

Of course it is!  Many states are even finding the evidence sufficient enough to dedicate legislation to the issue (ie. Washington State just passed legislation known as the Climate Change Initiative).  And I don't think any of us should be questioning whether or not it is a big deal or not if it leads to some sort of bipartison effort.  This may be the bridge across the isle...  Did you see the one with Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich also?

I saw that too.   I don't believe the sudden interest though.  They usually have some sort of agenda.  It will reveal itself.

It's sad to see that the level of education today now relies on the opinions of preachers/politicians to determine what is true.

When I went to school, we were told to base our conclusions on objective facts.  

Today we're told that proof depends on those who believe that a supreme being created man, and evolution is phony.
