  1. because he's c**p

  2. If you watched the match, the opponent Murray played was rather good then I think anyone expected including Murray.

The Taiwanese player took it to Murray as he had good ground stokes and pulled off some amazing shots during the match. He didn't really make the errors as Murray was making them. Yen-Hsun also played the bigger points better which allowed him to win the first set tiebreaker.

In the end, a little fatigue after his first Master Series title, very hot and muggy conditions, a little of carelessness, some brain cramping, and an all around bad day lead to Murray's loss.

  3. its because he is scottish  if he wins he then becomes British

  4. I was surprised...I knew he had no chance of getting to the finals, but i didn't expect him to lose so early either.

  5. Its because hes not actually very good and if his opponent isn't hitting the ball out alot then he will lose. Incapable of shot making and a complete p***y (its toooo hot). I'm pleased hes out, will shut pple up saying hes the next GS champ!

  6. because he is too cocky.....

  7. Brad Gilbert mentioned during the Cincinnati semis against Karlovic that Murray is not a morning person, he loves to sleep in. I think the fact that this was a morning match might've played a small role in Murray's defeat.

Full credit goes to his opponent Yen-Hsun Lu who was playing as close to a home tournament as he gets on the ATP tour.

Lu had the right strategy against Murray. He took the ball extremely early, hit deep, and didn't give Murray any kind of rhythm. He was extremely quick and didn't give up many short balls.

One of the most impressive things that I noticed about Lu was if he saw Murray so much as lean in one direction he would hit to the opposite without hesitation. That frustrated Murray to a great degree because one of the most effective parts of Murray's game is his ability to anticipate and read his opponents' shots.

In this match Murray ran into a quicker opponent who did everything just a little bit better than him. That little bit went a long way on the big Olympic stage.

  8. he lost 'cause he can't handle pressure and since he won the last master series event everybody had to much expectations for him

  9. cos he is a stroppy scots git

  10. Duno, maybe the humidity was a factor? also the fact the china dude played better today! The first set played a key role in the match if he won the tiebreak then perhaps he could have won the match in saying that he did get a break with the rain delay and still lost sooo........
