Why did Anheuser Busch always put family heritage in their commercials when they just sold to belgians?

They seemed to be always proud of the brew company always being within the family. Was this just a gimmic to sell to the american people that believe in patriotism and the american way? I didn't like budwieser but it sure is a shame that it was sold to an european company. I guess all can be sold to the highest bidder no matter how much historical significance it has.

  2. Everybody has its price,  apparently $52 billion is August Busch IV's price.  That's a lot of money, it is kinda hard to think about tradition and family heritage when somebody is pushing all than money in your face after already planning to cut jobs by forcing early retirement.

  5. Sadly, with the declining dollar the price was high enough that the shareholders accepted the bid.   I hope this isnt a trend...Admittedly I am a shareholder but my 200 shares really doesn't have much say.

    If you want to drink American, there are many good regional microbrews!!!  I like 90 Schilling Ale, Dog Fish Head, Hopdevil amongst others.

  6. What are you talking  about ?  I never  seen a beer about family  and   stuff in  an AB ad. they are being bought out nothing wrong with that it is  business. No one is dieing over this There will always be enough beer to p**s away your stupid apathetic life. what a friggin loser.!
