I do not know anything about this Jordanian or what job he was hire for?  But I'd think it that he is good at this job(one hope so anyway)

Marrying your 1st cousin is NOT incest via US law(as they is no one law on incest or who you can and cannot marry for all the US) and is NOT a felony!  20% of the world pop is marry to a 1st counin, so get over it.  Dis not the US like Jordan?  Are they not one of your good long time friends?
