  1. Because Clinton didn't do anything, (if these numbers you are saying is right), I haven't confirmed your rhetoric out yet. 9/11 was Clintons falt!

  2. and passing on the oncoming war against the terrorists to bush and under the attacks by muslims...remember the USS cole?

reagan on the other hand left us with a victory over the USSR...

you know I take Reagans way out over bill the adulterer any day of the week and twice on sunday kid!

  3. Because we didn't know that Bill protected Al Qaeda pilots who learned to fly IN THE US.

Reagan won 90% of electoral votes against Dems in 2 elections.

  4. Everyone knows Reagan was a wacky Hollyweird star. You can't trust them mooveee stars and their loony liberal policies. HOLLYWEIRD!

  5. Because he was great president. I would vote for him again if he could run.

  6. Bill Clinton got to coast on the hard work of the Reagan and Bush administrations and garnered the benefits & credit for it.

On the other hand, GW Bush took office after 8 years of bad track laid by the Clinton administration, and therefore inherited the disadvantages and blame for it.  However bad it may appear for GW Bush, we all need to be thankful that he was President for the last 8 years...if we had had a Democrat President, no telling the damage we'd be facing at this point.

It isn't rocket science, and most thinking people already know this.

  7. He did more for the American People, Not the Republican Right.

  8. Reagan was crazy by the end of his first term!!!!!

  9. Don't harsh my head dude. Me'un Slick Hate Clinton

  10. " slippery Kittens" in blue the DNC is rocking like a BLUE GOD mi friend...chow F.P

  11. Peace and Prosperity are soooo 1990's!  Its hip to give huge tax cuts to billionaires now.  Balancing the budget doesn't mean anything.  Why care if the value of the dollar collapses, it only hurts the middle class, and all we should ever care about is making the wealthy even wealthier.  I am glad the middle class is going into poverty.  Its what they voted for.  Oh wait, that was the supreme court.

  12. He was a better president. baring his indiscretions.

    A whole lot smarter.

  13. Because there were no wars then - Reagan did the hard work and defeated the USSR, ending the Cold War for Clinton.  Clinton just benefited from the Republicans hard work!  Plus Clinton simply ignored the gathering Muslim extremist storm and concentrated on feel good matters (I'll let you all use your imaginations on that one)

    Peace

  14. Do you have a link to a credible resource that says he did? That would be a very interesting statistic if true and verifiable.

  15. He didn't do anything. when you actually do the job more people hate you for it.

  16. Dude, why have the democrats only held the highest office for 12 years in the last 39? And, four of those were Jimmy Carter!

  17. Because after 8 years of Ronny Ray-gun running up a huge national debt while the only domestic initiative was "just say no", people finally realized that he better at being an actor than a president.

  18. Because Clinton was a good President. Reagan wasn't.

  19. Possibly because the media tends to report more favorably on Democrats than Republicans. It's subtle, but if you watch network news every night and read major newspapers, you'll notice a trend towards overlooking minor mistakes Democrats make while overemphasizing those of Republicans.

I don't believe it is a conspiracy, it's just that journalism attracts more liberals than conservatives, and it's very difficult to report on a politician or political situation without revealing your opinion.

  20. Yes but most people polled did not think he was a good president. His approval ratings are more on his likeability then anything. Bill clinton achieved pretty much nothing in office. Was impeached though he won the charges. He also lost congress for the democrats, something they had held onto for 40 years. That's not what i call a success.

  21. It's called the "INTERNET"....which provided the financial BOOM of the 90's and made Clinton look like he did something OTHER than get BJ's in the Oval Office and bomb pharmacies in Sudan...

----Why is Bush's approval rating higher than that of the Democratic Congress?

  22. Iran-Contra and alzheimers.

  23. because the explosion of microsoft resulted in a great economy while he was in office.

  24. Because he flat-out did a better job, and this is coming from someone that was no big fan of either(I hate the Clinton's, and I despise Reagan).

It would only be logical to assume that people would appreciate a surplus economy over a recession, no matter what their political affiliations are. Although it was always present, the turmoil between conservatives and liberals is probably greater now, than it has ever been. In this day and age you will probably never hear one say something good about the other. Back then, an ordinary person with conservative leanings may have looked back at the end of Clinton's term and said, "He didn't s***w up all that bad". He certainly won't be on the top 10 list, but he shouldn't be on the bottom ten either for that matter.

When I hear people ***** or rag on Clinton, all I hear is the same sh*t over and over again; He had it easy because of Reagan, the economy was doing good anyways, he got head, etc. None of it carries much merit, because despite it all our economy and foreign relations were better off in 2000 than they have probably ever been in U.S. history.

These people that volley for Reagan say the same illogical bullsh*t based upon absolutely no logical reason or evidence whatsoever. They say HE ended the Cold War, sure he did. Charlie Wilson was the one to set up the funding, in order to arm and train resistance fighters to combat the soviets during the Soviet-Afghan war, so if you want to thank a 'Single' American for ending the Cold War, you should start with him. No single man has ever accomplished such a feat by himself, there were many reasons why the Soviet Union collapsed, and Reagan was probably one of them, but people overinflated his importance to monumental proportions. The failure of Communism was most likely it's own undoing in the end, because the system and the concept were destined to fail, so it really wouldn't of mattered who was president at the end of the eighties.

Regardless of the moral implications that ensued after the Monica Lewinsky scandal, every president does AT LEAST one or two corrupt things during office, that you can always hold against them(like Reagan with the Iran-Contra bit). So to hold an act of infidelity against a guy who was president eight years ago is nonsense, because it never affected your life in one way or another (It didn't raise gas prices, cause the housing market to fail, jump start a recession, cause the unnecessary deaths of thousands of troops and civilians, etc.)
