Now if you are asking about Iraq; it was based on old; very old; material that the USA had given material to create weapons of mass destruction to Iraq; during the Iraq/Iran War.  

When GH Bush pulled out and didn't take down Saddam during the first Gulf War; GW Bush had to fix daddy's huge mistake.  That was a personal agenda on GW Bush and that's why we went and invaded Iraq.   Recall, GW gave Saddam almost a full year to get rid of the WMD.  You never give the date of an attack; that's what Bush did and that's what Obama will do.

War is necessary to defeat evil.  Defeat them n their country and we can stay safe here.  I was in the service and from day one we are trained to defend our nation and the freedom of others.  But I am assuming you are young, but you need to understand the President is not the one who declares war. Congress does. The Congress vote on going to war & funding war.  So you need to understand he did not make this decision ALONE, all the states have congressmen and senators who also supported the war in majority, including Obama and Biden. Other nations in the UN join us, however yes we do bare the brunt as we are the best and most trusted Army.

don't understand the question. but as to the the second part of your question, we are at war because the stupid government were led blindly into believing that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. Of course, the president believed that nonsense also. The reason we are there is because the US wants a piece of the action.
