He left cos he got offered the director's role again, but he's decision was to get sacked option cos he has a pay out of 8 million quid (that examples alot about Jews), if he stayed for that position, he would have received a big fat F**K ALL.

I noticed from doing forth official a couple of times last season including Chelsea vs Tottenham where it finished 4-4 that Grant did not command much respect from his players! He stood a lone figure for most of the game and interacted little with his management team! He even came up to me and asked "How can they score in the last minute??" I said nothing just smiled!:):) So maybe he was not SO wise after all!

i think he was not on Romans long term plans anyway, he was just a cover until the right man became available. time will tell if it was the right or wrong thing to to by getting rid of him so quickly. im an arsenal fan but i do miss Jose Mourinho
