I looked this dude up the other day, and it showed that he played for the Hurricanes, then the next day it says he plays for the Canucks? What's up with that? Is he too good to play for the lowly Hurricanes or something? If that's the case he's a punk in my book.

  1. The Canes didn't offer him enough $$$.

  2. I would never play for 'canes

  3. Im not sure where you found your stats but he has only played for Atlanta, Phoenix, Florida and Nashville (in that order). I would think that if he only played for a short period of time of any of those teams he was most likely in the minor leagues.

  4. Hi

Hockeydb does not have him listed as a Hurricanes or Canucks. I does show him playing last year for the Preds. 3 pts in 45 games. He was a FA it appears so signed with the highest bidder. I do not think the Canes missed out on much from looking at everything.  It is possible Yahoo messed up (not the first time) and put im as going to the Canes. More reliable sorces say he signed with Canucks.

    Thank You

  5. His rights were traded to Carolina prior to July 1st much like Brian Rolston's traded to Tampa.  This meant that the Canes had a chance to work out a deal with him prior to him becoming an unrestricted FA.  He informed them he was not interested in playing in Raleigh.  I think the Canes are better without the guy personally.

  6. cause hes stupid

  7. Don't know anything about that, but... if so, he is probably sick of playing in a non-traditional hockey market.  He also probably can't understand the y'alls and southern drawls.  He needs to go where they say oot and aboot.
