Seriously, did they expect him to stay with the Dodgers his entire career?

He was the most dominant closer in the league when he was with them, so I really don't know what's wrong with them.

Oh, well, they ARE from LA.

  1. Because he was juiced up as a Dodger. He cheated the game, and the Dodger fans.

  2. Now listen.

Eric Gange was good for about 1 or 2 years... Now, he just kinda fell apart.

DOntrelle Willis... it happened to him too. He was sent back to minors or triple a or whatever you want to call it:)

  3. Eric Gagne was a great closer and the Dodgers fans respect that. It's almost a tradition that fans boo a player who left their team. Besides, I actually thought that was pretty pathetic with the additional "details" remark on Canturberry Boy. You should learn to take an insult yourself. Adios.

  4. becase u suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  5. LOL, Normally when a player gets traded and comes back to his old stadium its Boo's for him

  6. what boo said. he pretty much summed it up best

now can I have the ten points please?

    lol

  7. They're stupid?

I dunno, but I don't find it right to ever boo a player for something like that. I'm a White Sox fan and I have never booed any player that came back to play against us. I realize that people get traded and all that stuff happens. The fans should cheer that player for all they gave to your team...not boo them.

  8. because gagne fell apart. ever since blowing that save for the first time in 86 tries (or something like that) he just started to go down.

  9. According to the Mitchell Report it was the product of steroids. None of it means anything if he was juicing. That's why.

  10. That's just how the things are.

When a player leaves a team, he can expect to be booed when he returns regardless of how well he did for them.

Of course, sometimes, you wish the fans will just bite their tongues and remove the wool over their eyes, that the pitcher did serve and did offer their team so much.

I applaude the Sox fans for cheering when Frank Thomas first returned to Comiskey.

  11. I never followed his career that much, so I don't know how he left LA for Texas.

If he left for free agency, it was his choice and Dodger fans have every right to boo because he left for a few more dollars.

If it was through a trade, unless he demanded it, it wasn't his choice. For all we know he could've wanted to stay in LA. Looking at his post-LA career, I bet he wishes he still played in Dodger Stadium. If it were through a trade, he shouldn't have been booed.

  12. Gange rightfully deserves to be boo'd. The LA Dodgers offered Gagne a 1 year 4 million dollar deal but he turned it down for a higher offer from the Texas Rangers.  Anytime a player leaves for more money they are suspect to being boo'd upon their return.  Gagne was a good player but he left for money. Comming off surgery the dodgers didnt want to risk that much money on him and it looks like a good idea.  Im a Cardinals fan and i am glad we cheered Edmonds when he returned.  He didnt leave because he wanted to, he was trade because we felt he be better off becasue we wasnt gonna be used everyday.  I am up set he went to CHC  but its all busniess.

  13. I don't know what's there to boo about him I wouldn't, but you should as a Brewers Fan he h**l of sucks

  14. Bcuz Gagne is the Most sh:ttiest bullpen play in the league

  15. If i were a dodgers fan I'd be cheering cause Gagne stanks
