Why did Egypt worship gods?

Gods were very valuable in Egyptian times, because they kept up hope. Each god had an explanation to each problem. The gods created a solution to each doubt. Their gods answered all of the questions, and kept them hoping. they believed in their gods as we do ours now. They would pray to them, asking questions, asking for rain for their crops, food for their family. The god of water would bring rain, and therefore, the crops would grow providing food to feed their family.
