  1. My guess is he knew, he had a thought about what really keeps life going and something so small could be the thing to save or destroy us he saw it as a "something so small could cause a monsoon of trouble" thats what he thought about the bees and us. a prediction in a way if u will.

"no bees no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals and ultimatley our worst fear no more u and I. and I thought about it after watching the movies bees that pixar movie and if the bees all quit pollination we're doomed and there is nothing we could do about it. then after about 5 months I heard that hunnybees were vanishing w/ out a trace, no body, no known reason, why now? Is this how it starts? The whole "Book of Revelations" thing it's so scarey to think about these things "death" no more every day "life" as we once knew it; suddenly everyone is different b/c they know they have a limited time to do the things that they have always wanted to. just when u thought u had all the time in the world ur gone tomarrow...

  2. I have never heard this quote so I am not entirely sure, but I am guessing it is because bees spread pollen. Thus, this spreads genetic diversity and life within plants, and of course with out plants humans wouldn't exist. Just my interpretation of the quote.

  3. Einstein was 100% ccorrect when he made this statement. Because Honey Bees fertilize plants by landing on them, getting food for themselves, and flying to the next plant to get more food. The bee picks up pollen by accident on their bodies and transport it to the next plant. This pollinates the plants. Without this pollination, plants would start dying out, our food sources would grow thin, and essentially the planet would not have enough resources to feed the population. Not just man, but most all living creatures would die. Once all creatures die, the planet would essentially turn into a Mars type desolate body floating in space because without plant-life, photosynthesis cannot take place. Therefore, Oxygen levels would be depleted. It would take hundreds of thousands of years for our planet to turn into a desert, though. But, it wouldn't take long for us to die out.

  4. Because bees are a key stone species, meaning that there are many other organisms whose survival depends on that of the bees (for all the reasons mentioned above). Therefore, bees can be used as an indicator of the health of the earth. As bee populations decline, it can be viewed as an indication that the earth is in a fragile and unequilibrium state. Once the bees go extinct, all other species dependent on them will go extinct eventually leading to total ecological collapse.

  5. "the human" is mostly correct.  Some plant  life does not depend on bees for reproduction, other insects, birds, or breezes carry the pollen.

However, bees are the main pollinator for most of the vegetation and fruit that man eats, except for grains.

  6. I am not familiar with this Einstein quote, but agriculture depends heavily on bees pollination activities, and people depend on agriculture for food.
