  1. man for people who rewally know boxing know floyd is by far the best...i know everyone wants to see him get beat but he's just to good...thats goes for him having heart and being a very technically sound fighter he's almost flawless in tachnique...oscar is a bum has been a bum his last 6 fights and for him to fight stevie forbes and people to jump on his band wagon need to wake up and see the bullshit oscar really is....stevie forbes was a bum a straight up bum....oscar may have one those early rounds against floyd but who doesn't against floyd... thats the kind of fighter he is even though many people will say like me he doesnt even lose those early rounds he just doesn't bring it all out...what else does he have to prove...NOTHING...he's beaten everyone and has had a long career and has never ran from anyone NOBODY...if the fight does happen people please don't bet on de le hoya unless you got money to blow(lose)

  2. U see its all about mind games and u see De La Hoya was trying to control everything..And I think Mosely was relizing that....Mayweather will fight the winner of Cotto/Magarito....next year.....u watch and see

  3. Well He said He Didn't have his drive anymore to fight, he said he was stuck fighting for money so he retired this is not the first time he has retired so you never know with him, but I don't think Oscar will be facing him.

  4. Think he knows that most people who watched the replay think DeLahoya won the first fight, (although it sure was not a great fight), so a close decision goes the other way this time. Think if he retires now he is going to be undefeated and one of the all time greats, if he invested well he should have no money  worries, so at this point I think he figures why risk it.

Having said all that, give him 6 months and he will probably change his mind, Oscar will be a year older and 30 million or more is hard to pass up no matter how much money you have.

  5. Willingness to fight the best and prove that you can come back and beat any boxer again tells alto about that boxer. I have never heard a boxer retire for the lack of interest. If the book is read without skipping a page, we will see that Floyd did not lose interest but cannot face other boxing styles and  prove to  us that he is really that bad as* Boxers like Julio, Mike T. Larry Holmes etc. fought anybody and gave us unforgettable memories in boxing history. Floyd has failed time and time and again to prove himself as the legitimate one of the greatest fighter ever. Is not all that and a bag of chips.

  6. He knows he got a gift decision in their first fight and he knows De La Hoya will be even more ready next time. Mayweather retired for the same reasons why Lennox "Lummox" Lewis retired instead of having to fight Vitali Klitschko a second time....

    ...fear and common sense.

  7. Ya I agree. I think he knows he''ll be in for a rough night the second time around. That jab was busting him in the first half of the fight. So it's either fight oscar take a chance, fight cotto or margarito and take a serious chance. Or retire.

  8. cause he's a scared mother f-er... so he go to church...

  9. he wanted to retire when he fought with Dela hoya until he was pressurized by the media to fight hatton. after all said and done, you all want him to fight again. i bet if he beat cotto or Dela hoya(rematch), you all will want him to fight again. common, give the guy a brake. he has proved to be the no 1. although I'll love to see him jump two weight class to face calzaghe.

  10. mayweather would of beaten him again, mayweather is a bad match up for him. it would of went the same exact way as the first one
