  1. This happens all the time out of respect to the person and the family. When Peter Jennings was sick, it's not like ABC led the news with updates on his condition.

It's the human thing to do. Can't say I was surprised about the news about Snow, just that it came at this particular time.

  2. inefficiency misinformation lack of accurate investigation

  3. I've never heard those reports and I'm a Fox News-aholic.  You are so intent on convincing yourself that they lie that you hear lies even when they don't exist.

If they did report it, perhaps his family was telling them that to keep from having him harassed by the media...who knows?

  4. Tony Snow's passing is such a tragedy. He and I are the same age. He is definitely gone too soon and will be missed by all of us who enjoyed his show.

I'm a frequent Fox News viewer. To-date I haven't heard or saw Fox News lie. They never said he was improving while I was watching, in fact, I've kept hearing reports about how he was going downhill fast.

BTW, if you don't like their shows or trust them, why do you continue watch? Perhaps you are the biased one who is lying.

  5. In the news media and politics, it is common to tell the Platonic "noble lie" or magnificent story" for the benefit of the polis. Many people on the right and left have said that Snow was a nice guy. While I've heard some people call Snow a racist, I still feel pity for what he and his family have been through. He may or may not have been prejudiced. But I don't think his supposed prejudice rose to the level of a David Duke or Adolf Hitler. It is truly sad to hear about his death. I believe that on some level, Snow was a decent man.

  6. You must be from MSLSD.

  7. You must be the only one who didn't know his condition-it was not referred to because of something called respect-something liberals wouldn't understand

  8. Either to respect his privacy, or because they didn't know the full truth about him.

  9. The same reason that MSNBC keeps lying to us about how well Ted Kennedy is doing, or Barack Obama for that matter.

  10. my goodness you are challenged.   Maybe they lied about him dying to cover some Bush plot in Iraq?

How would you even know what Fox reports?  You have made the comment before that you don't watch Fox (opps.. didn't know we knew who you were) What'd Id like to know is why the other communist networks aren't giving his death any news time.  Tim Russert got a week or two (including Fox).  If any one says he wasnt big time because he was a press secretary, lets remember the month of airtime another press sec got for writing a tell-all book.  The hypocrisy and hate these news channels have makes me sick.  As for the 'lies' about his condition...  Thousands of people succumb to cancer without warning.. so go blow yourself you insensitive jerk.

  11. Do you believe that this is the first or only time the Fox News has lied or deliberately misled the veiweres of the same?

Why would anyone trust this company?

  12. He was a liar and appropriately blended in with his employer.

  13. From what I have heard and read, Mr. Snow did not want people to be sad or upset about his situation.

  14. How can you look at yourself in the mirror when you take the passing of a good person and turn it into a political issue?

  15. Um, I am not sure about the Tony Snow story, but all FAUX "news" does is lie, its not a real news station, that is obvious from the fact that most their reporters, like o'really, are from gossip channels like entertainment tonight, and inside edition. They are the National Inquirer of tv "news"

  16. Fox News NEVER lies... your all FOOLS!   keep watching the far left low ratings CNN OR MSNBC.

  17. it's what they do

  18. Well we don't know all the circumstances surrounding the death, for one thing. Sometimes you can look good and have a sudden reversal.

But another explanation is that they were doing it out of consideration for Snow and his family... who were after all very close to FOX. Can you imagine being Snow and turning on the TV every day and hearing some commentator say, "Yup, Tony's on his way out. I saw him yesterday and he looked like He!!." That would hardly do much for your morale. .. which is important when you are battling such a devastating disease.

And besides why does the public deserve the intimate details of some guy's dying process? It's none of our business.

  19. Tony Snow knew he was dying.  He left his dream job as the Presidential Spokesman as his hair fell out to make money to support his family.  Knowing he had little time he moved to secure them financially.  The man was ill and Foxnews as many others had hope as you watch the unsinkable smile of Tony Snow and thought there is no way he is going to die.  Fox news did not lie they just had hope.

  20. they didn't lie.  this was a man who did not want pity... who kept going and working up until his death.  he would not have wanted a sob story about his condition.  he was too humble and decent for that.  heaven got a good one and america lost one of the best!
