Why did God create demons?

Why on earth would he invent something that has a sole purpose of tormenting and torturing his other creations? The universe surely isn't run by a s****t. If you think about it, the demons get to do what they like and live where they're happy. We get to be tortured by them. It's very unfair.

Demons are fallen angels, those who followed Lucifer in his war to gain power against God. They were cast out with him. God created all angels, but they have the free will to turn on Him just as we do.

You need to read a bible. God created angels, including Satan. The angels stupidly rebelled against God and were cast into h**l which was created just for them (many people just choose to go there). Demons are fallen angels.

Ok this is apparently how the story goes

Satan was once an angel of light.  However he though he was better than God.  God disagreed and kicked him out of heaven. Satan then took one third of the angel with him and the became demons

God didn't create demons everything that he created was good Satan wasn't always like the way he is know he wanted all the glory  to himself and to be worshiped which belongs only to God he was ousted  from the heavens taking 1/3 of the angels with him that is why the world is in complete chaos like it is he (satan) is solely responsible for wreaking havoc on people not God
