Where could such heinous ideas be fabricated?

In a sick and twisted human mind.  No other animal or creature would seek such destruction upon their own species.

Normally in nature, it is necessary for species to depend on one another for resources and subsequently survival... at some point this all changed.  It was when we began to have an unequal distribution of resources/wealth.  Then it became justifiable to dominate in order to procreate.  Step on others to get one's resources because then one may survive.

So it was in the human mind that this manifested.  

It began with a thought.
