  1. I feel the same way............. omg, I hate bugs.

But, we need smaller creatures to help break down smaller things such as waste etc..  They help keep the planet cleaner and they benefit from the smaller waste larger animals produce, which would accumulate and polute the earth.  Some animals benefit from them as a food source.  Everything has a purpose.  Some just have smaller jobs in the circle of life.

  2. I understand your position since I grew up terrified of insects and felt they were creepy.  When we moved to the woods I had to believe that God wanted me to love insects as much as I loved animals so I began working and praying about it.

If you learn more about insects you might become more fascinated with the detail and benefits that God put into them.

Here's some sites that may help you begin that journey :-)

Insects like the Praying Mantis and Assassin Bug have a bit of "bizarre" to their looks so they are kinda cool to know about:

Even wasps are very important to our gardens and food production because they feed on bad bugs:

Since they out-populate any other species, God certainly had a lot of benefits for them to be here.  One of my favorite sites on God's Creation is Creation Moments where you can learn a lot about the way God made various creatures.  They have a free email newsletter available:

  3. EVERYTHING IN NATURE IS THERE BECAUSE IN SOME WAY IT IS NEEDED WE ARE THE ONE WHO CLASSIFIES THINGS INTO GUD AND BAD, USEFUL, WASTE....INSECTS R NEEDED TO MAINTAIN THE BALANCE OF ECOSYSTEMS ,SMALL ONES ARE EATEN BY BIG ONES BIG BY MORE BIG AND IT GOES ON LIKE THATAND THIS IS NOT ALL GOD HAS CREATED THEM TO GIVE US DIFFERENT LESSONS ALSO!!WATCH AN ANT .IT DOES NOT QUIT TILL IT REACHES ITS DESTINATION, SHE MAY FALL OF WALL BUT WILL AGAIN START CLIMBING . ITS ALL LIKE THAT THERES BEHIND EVERYTHING.......

  4. Yes, he did.

Insects do a lot of different things,

but remember they did not start to bother, until Adam and eve messed up.

  5. There's a lot of great answers here to answer your question.  I grew up hating bugs too especially grasshoppers because my older would hold them in front of me and tease me with them.  I really don't like any bugs that cling on you like june bugs.  Needless to say, my big thoughts about this subject is like others have expressed.  We need certain bugs for the circle of life.  I think God knew that when he created this beautiful earth with his awesome plan.  If we didn't have bees to polinate, we wouldn't have plants to eat and many animals that only eat plants.  We would live in a sewage environment because of all the bugs that get rid of garbage and waste.  Pestisides are killing off our bees and important bugs.  If we continue the use of harsh chemicals, we will have no fruit, vegetables, trees, flowers.  I ask the question, are we slowly destroying our own beautiful world?

  6. Because there is no god.

  7. to feed the sheep

  8. Well, without Bees to pollenate plants, plants wouldnt have lived and spread, and neither would the animals without plants... that just one example

  9. I think he did it to keep humans humble but it didn't work.

  10. They are food for other animals.

  11. I agree with zack answer and debbie too. We need to banned pesticide because it causing are fruit, veggies, and other products to go bad. what y'all think

  12. Not everything has a purpose but insects most definitely do. Most insects are only here to annoy you (just kidding). Actually most insects are here to keep other insects under control. So, in essence, they are a self controlling group of animals. Other than that the only purpose they serve is to decompose everything on the planet so we don't get caked in **** every twenty minutes. If not for insects out planet would be covered in "scum" in about 3 days. It would be so bad life would cease to exist.

  13. Well, certain animals in our world would not be able to survive without feeding on insects. Also, insects play a vital role in, for example, pollination, so they also help plants to reproduce. Quite simply, without insects, our world would not be the same.

  14. is this a science question?

    or a religious question?

maybe you got the wrong category?

in this category insects evolved and survived because they found a part of the environment in which they could prosper and reproduce.

btw, personally, i find flu viruses much more distasteful.
