And if you don't believe in God, then just remove the words "did," "make," and "God" from the question and replace them with the word "is."

  1. Interesting question friend:

Perhaps because they are so difficult to attain we might have harder lives and learn in the meantime, it is to challenge our wills and virtues, perhaps we will die trying to attain them otherwise we will hit rock bottom and our mettle then will be truly tested again.

But why attain them since they are so boring, inhuman and impossible in the first place?

I wonder often if he enjoys making examples out of us, and perhaps it is for the greater good that we achieve them to instill hope in those that don't find them so utterly useless (as I have come to see we both feel the same way about it).

or reject them to give those that wish to embrace them the courage to attain them.

I have reason to believe that many of us are pawns on a larger scale, but we all play the same game - someway or another.

I doubt very much that we are being "tested" for any particular destination, and the reason for my answer is simply that we are here now, and what ever happens thereafter will be dealt with then (in the mean time consciously we must, because it is right and right is good and good is natural, to proceed toward the act of life in the name of peace, justice and the other virtues whether or not we achieve them in the end), if on the other hand you are someone that believes in karma or some kind of return on your doings then perhaps it is okay for you to believe at all in an afterlife, but not that it is being tested, more like - being prepared for advancement from one cycle or lesson to another. There are some interesting theories that will testify to mans exodus from this realm to another that will aid his new voyage as an instrument of some kind to the next school of thought and action which will be on another scale altogether different and unfothomable right now (in this life). However, about war being bad or death being bad, that is a perception you've chosen to believe or relate to somehow, mine is completely the opposite - I believe war is cleansing and death is replacement, IOW, war (viewed in numerous ways like: man-slaughter {man at war with man}, natural disaster {earth at war with man}, disease {earth at war with man}, etc, are all forms of death but only one is blamed with good reason on man) is anything to do with man struggling and falling short (death) - perhaps before this* incident he was trying to attain a thing, he may have found to be his life's work, perhaps it wasn't that obvious to him and his death may seem untimely, does that prove though that he was not trying to attain perfection in the process? - (and this could have been conscious or unconscious), it's like what man needs and what man wants, he is likely to know the latter better than the former, doesn't make him ignorent nor impaired nor imprefect, just human.

And on the subject of our perception; I believe we are here guided by many things around us (again, that we may or may not understand at all or perhaps a little - this can work in conjunction with "some" knowing alot more than the average and "some" knowing a lot less than average, leaving teachers and students here alike to learn and teach.

Those who wish to follow the questions must be willing to listen to the answers - Aristotle said: "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" - This must be our duty, because we can only learn from acquired knowledge that may not make sense at a point, but later might make it all come together like a symphony - this is the reason PATIENCE is one of the most important virtues. "Whoever is out of patience is out of possession of his soul. Men must not turn into bees, and kill themselves in stinging others"

    - Sir Francis Bacon

So, we throw concepts around our entire lives waiting for something that feels right, a state of consciousness that is agreed upon for reasons unknown but strangely "sit well".

I believe that the pursuit for truth and the natural is a good journey, to poke at it might be the work of a pessimist, to play with it might be the humble curiosity of the innocent.

  2. Thats kinda ridiculous. If it is 'perfect' then it is without flaw, which means perfection can't be boring, impossible and (hopefully) inhuman. A door can't be a jar except in bad joke books.

Of course, if we are talking about perfection in the sense of what is perfect for me, then the semantics of the arguement are only marginally changed. Perfection, in this case, exists in much the same way the answer is 4: it is true when the conditions (2+2 or 12-8, or whoever is judging said state says its 'perfect') correlate to the opinion but it is false when the conditions (14 +22 or 66 / 3, or you share an opinion contrary to the one being expressed) do not.

The perfect world for a dolphin includes lots of water and tons of plankton and small fishes. Throw a giraffe into that same ocean of happiness and see if you don't start hearing it curse in giraffe quite loudly. Only the giraffe is confused, which of course is the point. Stop hanging around people smarter than you and gliding easily through the water: the Savannah is left when you hit the ocean, if you're coming in from the North.

  3. You pose this question because you did not knew that this Test Universe is itself imperfect and created only for test and you cannot explain the word perfection. So please understand the perfection first. Also try to find the levels of perfection and level of vision and approach when you combine these all you will learn a lot

  4. Ever consider that it is only your notion of perfection that is boring?  If not, then consider for a moment that chaos is perfection.

Hence perfection all of a sudden would stop being boring.

  5. perfection, in fact, isn't boring at all. the only thing is that, it is impossible to achieve. most of the people are unaware that they are doing inhumane acts upon doing the best thing that comes in their minds in order to achieve perfection.

  6. By virtue of concise definition what is boring, impossible and inhuman cannot then be considered perfect. Man is required to understand the principle of perfection and his perception of it to realise and map a journey to its door.

  7. I am a christian and sometimes I wonder the same thing. Trying to be a christian in these days and times is a struggle as it is, and honestly can be boring too. But Satan wants us to be intrigued by the bars and a life full of sin to lure us to h**l. But I can assure you that when we make it to heaven someday, we christians will be the ones living it up and the sinners will be the ones bored and suffering. Hang in there!

  8. To keep us interested in pursuing the various levels of life experiences without believing that making a mistake could possibly ruin it all.

  9. God gave us free choice and that is something that is a constant.  He provided a model of perfection for us to look to as a reference for good living (morally).  Perfection, beyond that, is socially defined.  Whether we can obtain the 'good' is up to us working together.

  10. I do not find Gods perfection boring. Impossible yes at times.Only God is perfect so inhuman yes.  I do not think God feels it is impossible. There is a reason he wrote the bible for us. So we can know him and know that there is hope in all of us.

  11. Is perfection boring?  Ask the artist who's joy is in painting a perfect portrait.  He may never have succeeded yet in painting that perfect portrait, but he finds the process far from boring.  Or the writer who strives to write the perfect story.  He may not have succeeded in writing that perfect story yet, but he's far from bored by the effort.  If you find the idea of perfection boring, it is because you yourself are boring.  You have no ambition, no goals, no life's work or dedication upon which to turn your attention to.

As far as free will being flimsy? Again I say, ask the artist whose free will it is to paint or not to paint.  If his opportunity to paint is stripped from him, does he not cease to be an artist?  To be a human?

Yes, perhaps he will go on to become a Hitler instead, but he may just as well go on to become a Van Gogh or a Rembrandt.  The only way a Van Gogh or a Rembrandt can exist is if it's possible for a Hitler to exist as well.   Don't blame God for man's choices.   Hitler had a choice as you do.  He chose to do evil.  Lucifer had a choice as well.  He chose to do even worse.  That's not God's fault. If he removes one's free will, he will have to remove all our free will.

Rebuttal:  Ah, you give yourself away.  Your question has nothing to do with perfection.  Your question is not a question at all.  It's a typical accusation given by a typical Atheist.   When does an artist no longer have the power to do what he or she loves?  According to you, at death.  Which is why you're so angry.  Why be angry with what you consider natural?  On the other hand, if you're even sillier and your argument involves some antiquated notion about loss of mind or limb, I direct you to the numerous artists who continue to their work even under the strain of alzheimer's (ARTZ) as well as to artists like Martha Anne Honeywell, the silhouette artist born without arms.

Regardless of your efforts my friend, you cannot drown, quench, nor destroy the human spirit.  Perfection is found in the spirit. But then again, if you choose to strangle your spirit, don't be surprised you find yourself bored.

    Ciao and farewell.

  12. you have the wrong view on it. perfection means adventure. if something is boring you are not perfect.

  13. I don't care that perfection is boring, impossible, and inhuman, because it can never be achieved.  Which makes it pretty much irrelevant.
