  1. because its not true

  2. Jesus is way cooler than God.

  3. I don't think G-d did send Jesus.  Jesus isn't what Christians make him out to be

  4. He did show up. But in Human Form. His name is Jesus. A human had to pay the price for humanities sin

  5. When Adam and Eve sinned, it "forfeited" God's right to be on Earth in a physical sense due to the fact that He had given control of the Earth to man. Therefore, He had to find a way to walk among man PHYSICALLY in order to be able to redeem us from our sins. But, how to do it? That's where the Virgin Birth comes in. Had Jesus been born in the "conventional manner", He wouldn't have qualified to walk among men and become our sacrifice, for He would've been born with the same curse that was placed on all Adam and Eve's descendants. He needed the physical purity of a virgin plus be able to circumvent the curse that Adam's seed carried. That way, Jesus could be MAN to serve as the ultimate sacrifice, yet be GOD manifested in the flesh in order to wash away sins.

  6. It sold more books.

  7. because he knew u wouldnt believe anyways

  8. Perhaps god doesn't have human form. Although man is supposed to be made in his image, he may no longer posseses that image.

  9. because seeing isn't the same as believing.

even if God came down and proclaimed himself as God, people won't believe it if they don't have it in their hearts to believe it.

Jesus did a lot of miracles, and even though I'm not Christian, just agonistic, there are records to show that. but people STILL didn't believe.

it's all up to the person to believe or not to believe.

  10. According to the bible, Jesus Christ was the human form of god.

  11. Jesus IS God as the second person of the Trinity. That is the beauty of it. God found a way to come to us through human nature itself by assuming human flesh as a REAL man. Jesus is BOTH God and real man (two natures).

  12. Sshhh.  You aren't supposed to question anything.  This is how religion "gets" people.

  13. HAHAHA!!! Dude, haven't you seen Dogma? It's because God is so awesome that we mere humans simply can't stomach his awesomeness...so he put his spirit (The holy spirit is in my body!) into Jesus, so Jesus could preach his word and not destroy potential followers with his awesomeness.

Or, as Norkk123 said: He was to big, and didn't fit. HA! I love it!

  14. as a mother I can easily give my life for my children but to have to give my child's life I could never do.  So I think it means more to give Jesus life over his own.

  15. because he was too big and couldn't fit

  16. ummmm.....God was in Jesus...God was Jesus.

  17. He was busy setting up Global Warming

  18. Got things to do, foo! Busy trancendental being, y'know?

  19. Numbers 23:19

19 God is not a man, that he should lie,

nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.

Does he speak and then not act?

Does he promise and not fulfill?

    1 Timothy 2:5

5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

  20. It's all fake. There is no God and there is no proof of anything.

  21. Bad hair day?  or maybe because it's all a lie???

  22. he is kinda shy

    or

    because he loves you

  23. Jesus volunteered.  He was  not drafted.

Someone had to resurrect Jesus.  Only God had that power.

For Jesus to bring a balance to Justice for Adam's sin, there had to be an equally perfect human life exchanged for the one Adam threw away.  That was the main reason Jesus became human as Philippians 2:6-10 shows.  Also it gives evidence Jesus is NOT God, nor His equal.  Two wrong ideas not supported by the Bible.

By the same token, he fulfilled the Mosaic Law by doing what animal sacrifices never could. (Heb. 10:1-4, 10, 18)

  24. God the Father was already a resurrected glorified immortal perfected being.  He was not able to come down in human form, gain a physical body and learn, progress and then offer HIMSELF as a sacrafice for the sins for mankind.  ONLY Christ, His only begotten Son, was able of doing that in our behalf.  Christ came in the name of the Father, HE became our advocate with the Father.

The Father didn't NEED the experience of mortality as Christ did to complete His mission and provide the means for His own eternal perfection & glory.  THIS life, CHrist's life, like our own, is our own personal missions to open the way to our own eternal salvation & glory for eternity.  SHOWING UP was not the Father's job - it was by divine design even before this earth was created that THAT job would be Christ's - acting in behalf of the Father.  They are two parts of the same whole.

I can not believe that there are and were so many totally senseless, useless, ludirous answers here and that no one really felt able to answer this question.  Amazing!  Sounds like no one really knows the answer and perhaps disagrees with mine even - but personally THIS is my belief!

  25. God is Jesus. Look up the trinity. It's hard to understand, but basically, he sent Jesus to sacrifice himself for our sins. It's not something you can explain that simply, in my opinion, at least.

  26. In a way--He did just "show up". Jesus IS God in human form. The only truly perfect person. Jesus existed to be an example of a perfect life to an imperfect world and to save us all from our sins.
