Because she was more interested in marketing herself through a publicity stunt than in marketing a genuinely valuable investment of public money. Also, I would be asking myself which crony of hers bought it at that bargain price.

She tried to sell it on EBAY, but she couldn't get her asking price.  THEN she went through a broker.

Who knows? Maybe she did it just to say that she did.  It may be she did it to make a statement, sort of like when you take someone's prized clothes and you sell them to a thrift shop for far less than they are worth. Or maybe that's as far as her knowledge goes about economy and thriftiness.  I wouldn't put it past her if it is the latter.

Are you serious?  This is the best you can come up with?  Let's see, you guys are trying to attack her on her experience (right), you're attacking her kids, and your using her kids to try and attack her, your attacking her based on gender, and now you are trying to attack her for selling the jet on ebay "instead of a reputable jet brokerage".
