  1. idk

  2. It could be all the disgusting hormones they are injecting the cows with these days....

  3. This is normal. Most of us, (exclude some cultures in africa and a small group in northern Europe), stop producing the enzyme that breaks down lactose as we go through puberty. (Lactose is glucose bound to galactose and there is a specific enzyme that breaks the sugars down into usable forms).

If you want the specifics of the biochemistry, feel free to email me.

  4. you can develop lactose intolerant any time through out life, it doesn't matter if you are 2 years old or 70 years old.

  5. although they do give growth hormones to cows these days becoming lactose intolerant can develop at any time just due to the bodies changes. But if you still would like to drink milk there are brands out there that are lactose free  and they taste exactly the same.

  6. Lactose intolerance is something that can develop over time.

There's lots of alternatives to cow's milk these days though.
