Why did I cave? Need some baby dust!

So I am anticipating AF for Thursday or Friday, and I have been TTC since Jan. I promised myself I wouldn't test before then. This was my month of relaxing. Well last night I was home alone and found a test. BFN! I know it doesn't really mean anything and I really don't feel like I'm preggers, but after TTC so long to where you expect to get your period is there really any hope? How can I get my mindset positive so I can get a BFP? This is really getting old now, and proof is in the test that relaxing isn't the answer either.

  1. Omg i am so with you, my af is due to start on the 15th and i've already tested 3 times with a bfn...no surprise there...lol. It is sooo frustrating. I feel like i'm preggo because I am having really weird cramps. they are not like my normal pre-menstrual cramps, they are much lower and shooting pains. It's people like you and I that keep the testing business alive...lol. The wait is brutal and I get more down every time I test. It is hard to stay positive. I absolutely cannot relax, it is easier said than done. I hope this is our month so baby dust to you and me and everyone else ttc.

  2. I understand where you are coming from.  Have you tried charting your temperatures and keeping track of your cervical mucus.  This helps a lot so at least you know when you are going to ovulate.  I didn't try the ovulation kits, but they have been recommended.

Don't give up hope.  I got a shocking positive from my doctor yesterday and we had been trying since October! It does feel hopeless at times, but keep trying and enjoying yourself while doing so.  Hopefully before you know it you will be pregnant.

Tons of baby dust your way : )

  3. The 2-week-wait is always a tense time, I believe, no matter how long you've been TTC. There's so much anticipation and 'I wonder if's' floating about its no wonder we cave into taking a test early! Even with early response tests, they may not yet pick up on increased HGC in your urine just yet. As you say yourself, you shouldn't be discouraged so soon! Keep positive and taking care of yourself: stick it out until Friday now and try to keep as busy as you can in the meantime :]

Wishing us both TONNES of babydust :] xx

  4. GOOD LUCK AN BABY DUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
