Why did I have a dream that I made out with my friend's brother?

Is it some sort of weird sign that I like him? Or do dreams just happen randomly for no reason?

  1. Its a dream.  You have no control over them. Sometimes they mean something, sometimes you had some MSG that caused them to be more vivid.  Its only a dream, what you actually do is what matters.

  2. i've heard stuff like that usually is a sign you want to get to know someone better

  3. Dreams tend to have a language, symbolism, basically, a world of their own.  This is not a foretelling dream.  It simply speaks of your admiration, respect and simply affection as a person to a person would have.  It just happens to express itself in the dream in a "sexual" way.  What can be understood is that you "like" this person in a platonic, respectable, honest-to-God way.  That's all.

    Regards

  4. It could mean nothing.  Dreams are often just crazy compilations of our subconscious.  Your brain probably just glued together your desire to make out and be sexual and your memory of some guy that you know.

Don't obsess over it.  Unless, of course, you want to make out with him.  In that case, start the flirting.

  5. Dreams are normally allegorical, i.e. a dream about making out doesn't automatically equal sexual attraction.  Your friend's brother might have qualities that you want to have yourself, or you might have been responding to circumstances in your dream, rather than any sort of sexual motivation.  Look at your dream again, and think of what happened before and after the make-out session, and that may provide you with some insight as to why you connected with this person.
